Trip to Buffalo!

A few weeks ago Steph came to visit Rochester and we (as in Steph, Dan and me) took a mini-trip to Buffalo/Niagara Falls for a day. We didn't get to go over to the Canadian side of the falls because Steph couldn't get her passport on time, so we just wandered around on the American side. The weather sucked that day, so after we took our obligatory pictures of the falls, we stayed indoors, where it was nice and warm.

You can kind of see the Canadian falls.

The highlight of our trip was dinner at the famous Anchor Bar, home of the original buffalo wings. It was pretty packed when we got there around 6ish but we were seated within 10 minutes of getting there. We ordered a ton of food; 50 wings (25 medium, 25 spicy BBQ), 2 orders of fries and an order of fried mushrooms. It was a bit ambitious to think that the three of us would be able to eat all that food, but we made a considerable dent.

DELICIOUS.

Wings, fried mushrooms, fries and beer (not pictured). It was the perfect combination. It really was. So what if it seems like a "manly" meal? ...I'm okay with that because I LOVED IT. Mm'mm good.

I want to go again! NOM NOM NOM.
