The power of plants

So, I went to Target today and bought some face lotion and body scrub. Nothing special, right? Wrong. I think I've stumbled onto something special. So special that I am going to write a blog post about it. Target's brand, Boots Botanics is surprisingly good. I first read about it on a random blog and have been wanting to try it for awhile. I've been running low on my current day cream (Garnier Ultra Lift) so this was the perfect excuse to try a new day cream. Boots has a pretty extensive line of different skin care products ranging from acne prevention to mature skin to body scrubs to foot care. It's a bit on the expensive side ($14 for the Face Renewal Cream) for something from Target, but it's a very good product for a decent price. It's better than what I used to spend on skin care from Clinque.

I tried a little bit of the lotion on my face earlier and it made my skin so smooth! Like a baby's bottom. And it's very light which is a big plus for me. I hate heavy feeling lotions that make my pores clog up. And it uses a lot of natural fruit and plant extracts (that sounds pretty legit, doesn't it?) and it smells nice.
