I happened upon this blog called MissWisabus earlier (when I was supposed to be studying, oops...) and saw her most recent entry about some good things she enjoys when her day is going badly. It inspired me to make a list of all the things that make me happy/smile/feel good. Especially because these past two weeks have been particularly stressful and unsettling. I can always count on these things to put a smile on my face.
♥ Baking something yummy to share with friends.
♥ A good, face to face conversation with a friend.
♥ Inside jokes.
♥ Sunshine.
♥ Pictures of food.
♥ Food blogs.
♥ Cooking for friends.
♥ Reading thepioneerwoman.com (my most recent obsession)
♥ Knowing that Dan is nearby in case I ever need a big hug.
♥ How I Met Your Mother.
♥ The Office.
♥ 30 Rock.
♥ Dan's hamster, Beast.
♥ A delicious meal.
♥ Listening to old songs from HS.
♥ Seeing Dan happy.
♥ Seeing my friends happy.
♥ Getting snail mail.
♥ Reading a ridiculously good book. So good that I can't bear to put it down.
♥ A nice, soothing swim.
Just thinking about these things make me feel better.
Now... back to school work.

I like lists. I really do. It's a bit of an obsession. Haha :p

2.Go to Magnolia Bakery.
3.PINKBERRY! <3>Drink lots and lots of bubble tea.
5. Eatxiao long bao (小笼包) and shen jian bao (生煎包).
6.Watch Enchanted and I Am Legend.
7.Eat lots of Korean food!
8.And Chinese food.
9.And Japanese food.
10.Just Asian food in general. [Always room for more food ^_^]
11. Go to Max Brenner: Chocolate by the Bald Man in Union Square.
12. Go ice skating in Central Park. Or just ice skating in general.
13. Go the Sweet Avenue Bake Shop in Rutherford, NJ
14.Spend New Year's with amazing people.
15. Make a snow man and snow angels! [There isn't ANY snow!]
16.Spend lots of time catching up with old friends. [I've kind of been doing that? Not as much as I'd have liked]
17. Buy new boots.
18. Go to Boston for fun. [To be honest, I didn't expect this to happen at all. I just put it on my list for fun]
19. Get root beer floats @ the FAO Schwartz ice cream parlor!
20.Bake, bake, bake.
21. Make chocolate lollipops :)
So! I'm pretty happy that I've been able to get a decent amount of things done on my list. It's been a very good break so far. Only a week more until I go back to school! I actually want to go back to school because I'm bored of home. I say that now, but I know I'll be wishing I was home a couple of weeks from now when the work gets to be too much and responsibilities too heavy. Then I won't have the luxury of enjoying bubble tea, Pinkberry, good Korean food and mommy's cooking.

I have SO many pictures to post up! And I'll post them up later because I have to get ready. Steph and I are paintin' the town today (so to speak) and hopefully, I'll be able to cross more things off my list by the time I come home tonight!

Not too bad. I've mostly been eating. A lot of eating. What can I say? I love to eat. I baked more oatmeal chocolate chip cookies last night. They came out pretty tasty even though I accidentally bought and used salted butter instead of unsalted butter. Luckily, I fixed that problem by adding a bit more sugar. Mmmm, I made 4 dozen cookies. Unfortunately, I don't have Cindy, Jocelyn, Oronde, Brian and RCCCFers to eat them all this time around. I doubt my parents will eat them all. What am I going to do with 4 dozen cookies! Moahaha, EAT THEM ALL MYSELF. Mmmm, yeah...right. I hardly ever eat much of what I make.
Anyhoo, I need to go get ready for church.
Thank You for Your blessings even though I don't deserve any. Thank You for loving me despite what I've done and who I am.

I haven't slept since I woke up on Wednesday morning. I'm starting to feel really tired right now. The exhaustion is beginning to catch up to me. I haven't really stopped at this today to rest. After my paper, I passed out at my desk for a little bit, and then showered, got breakfast and went to class. After class, I grabbed lunch and went home and ended up watching Heroes. I'm finally caught up and now I can watch the latest episode! I'm a bit late, but whatever! Anyhoo, after that I went to ITS to print out my Chinese homework, only to discover that the homework wasn't in my gmail so I had to walk back (in the snow. It started snowing like crazy for the entire afternoon) to my room to re-email it to myself. Then I went to RR to print it out, and ended up having to wait for the printer because it was stalled. Afterwards, I went to Chinese class and after Chinese, I had work until 5 at the bookstore. It's been a pretty busy day. I got dinner with some awesome people at Danforth (mmmm, tonight was a special night. They had prime rib and snow crab legs. Omgsh, our table consumed so much crab) and now I'm at Carlson with Justin and Eric the freshman. It's going to be another long, long night to paper writing and procrastinating. Oytothevey. I can't wait until all this is over. I am going to sleep SO much. SO SO MUCH.
So I got really excited earlier because I found this awesome cupcake bakery that's located near my cousin's house. I'm going to try to visit over winter break. Ahh, reading food blogs and looking at pictures of food make me feel happy. Sometimes I think I should just quit college and open up my own pastry shop. HAHA, yeah right. I'm not even that great at baking. I need more practice and more time to experiment with different recipes. Gah, I really really want to bake now.
Random picture of the cake that I baked for Steve and Karen's goodbye party at church. My first attempt at cake decoration. HAHA, I'm such a noob.
So, on a completely different note, I've decided to compile a list of all the things I'm hoping to do over winter break. Just because I can't concentrate right now, and because I don't want to work on my Chinese composition just yet...
